So I had a lovely New Year's, thanks. O:

My parents picked up my grandfather on my mom's side and we drove all the way to the most local outdoor mall we could find and had a delicious meal at the place I have nicknamed O Holy Place, aka The Cheesecake Factory. Never get between me and some chocolate raspberry truffle is all I'm saying. XD Midway through the meal, I realized it was New Year's and went "Whoa, it's New Year's.", it was kind of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, but that's okay.

Anyway, we ate and ate and ate and felt like puking and ate some more, then we ran across the street to Books & Company to cease my unrelenting whining. Upon entering, I laughed my ass off at the immediate sight of a Twilight display (gets me every time). My giggles returned when I went to the Bestseller section and spotted Twilight and Dead Until Dark on the same exact shelf. (For those who don't know, Dead Until Dark is the first book of the Southern Vampire Series that True Blood is based off of.) So there was that.

I also scored the first volume of Code Geass (because it's awesome) and, oddly, a toy. O: It's from a series of chibi-fied Marvel heroes/Indiana Jones characters/Star Wars characters called Mighty Muggs. I already had one of movie Iron Man that was released exclusively at the San Diego Comic Con (because I am a dork and I love me some movie Iron Man), but the one I spotted at Books & Company was just too good to pass up.

Galactus, y'all. XDDD Now I can have a crossover superhero smackdown, yessss! *air fist*

But now I have a crapload of school work to catch up on because I'll be having a special sushi lunch tomorrow and my parents are fully prepared to cancel it if I don't get my ass in gear and get some crap done. So there's that. D:
